Customer FAQs

Are all your dresses Pre-Loved?

No – we have a mix of Pre-loved, Ex-Sample and even some New never been worn dresses.

Do you sell designer dresses?

Yes absolutely! – We have many different designers such as Ronald Joyce,  Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee, British Bridal, Elysee, Allure Couture, Milla Nova, Berta and more.

If I fall in love with a dress but aren’t ready to buy it can I come back and you can order it for me if it has sold?

No unfortunately not – the dress you see and try is the dress you would buy and once it is gone it’s gone.

How many of each dress do you have?

Just one! – we’re not like traditional boutiques where we can order the dress in for you, what you see in our shop is what we have.  We do have one or two the same but in different sizes but that is very rare.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is necessary! However, if you let us know you’re coming and what you’re looking for, we can be better prepared to assist you.

What range of sizes do you stock?

We currently have from size 6 to 32

When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?

12 – 18 months before your wedding – it sounds a lot but you need time to explore your options, decide what you want and still have time to get it.  If you  order from a boutique your dress may take 9 months to come so you need time for this.  – see our blog for more in depth help and information.

If I get my dress from you when do I get to take it home?

Immediately – the dress you try on is the dress you buy so you take it home with you the same day you say “Yes”  to your dress.

Do you do any alterations I need?

No – We don’t offer in-house alterations, but we’re happy to recommend experienced local seamstresses who specialise in bridal wear.

What should I bring with me when I come to my appointment?

You don’t have to bring anything but some things to consider are

  • A hair clip or bobble in case you want to put your hair up, either to keep it out of your way or to see what it would look like with your dress
  • If you have shoes that you want to wear with your dress bring them along, you then get to try them on together
  • Underwear you are comfortable in that makes you feel good – whatever that is or looks like

How many people can I bring with me?

We recommend no more than 2 or 3 – the reason we say this is, you don’t need or want too many opinions, how you feel is the most important thing and too many opposing views can be confusing and stop you knowing how YOU truly feel.  You want to enjoy the experience not be stressed.

Can I bring my child with me?

Bringing little ones along may seem like a sweet idea – especially if you’re close to them – but bridal boutiques are rarely child-friendly environments.

Appointments usually involve delicate gowns, lots of standing, and a fair bit of concentration. A restless toddler or crying baby can be a major distraction for you, your group, and even other brides in the shop.

So we strongly recommend leaving children at home so you can focus fully on the experience – without worrying about sticky fingers near silk or managing a nap-time meltdown.

How much are your dresses?

We have a range of prices – currently we have from £75 up to £3,000 – so we have something for everyone

Do you sell bridal accessories?

Yes we certainly do – we have a range of Veils, bolero tops, capes, Jewellery, hair accessories, belts and shoes.

Can I return my dress?

No unfortunately not – all sales of ALL our items are final.  All items are bought as seen and we will not accept returns or provide refunds.

If you have concerns please discuss them with our team before making your purchase.
